Don’t Gain Weight From Holiday Sweets; Stay Fit With These Tips

We are just past the Thanksgiving holiday and heading quickly down the road to gingerbread, sugar cookies and candy canes. Ah yes, the Christmas season is wonderful for the taste buds, but not always so great for the waistline. But don’t go signing up for a cellulite reduction yet; here are some tips to help you enjoy all the baking and cooking you are used to while staying fit and thin.
Reduce The Mayo
I don’t know about you, but there is nothing better than that turkey sandwich slathered with gobs and gobs of mayo. But that mayo contains tons of fat that is not the best thing for cellulite reduction.
Instead, try a little olive oil rubbed on the bread and a little melted reduced fat cheese. The cheese will still give you the same texture of the mayo without sacrificing taste, yet coming in with a lot lower fat content. You can feel good about it and keep all the taste at the same time.
Wear Fitness Shoes While Cooking
You may have never thought of this, but while you are running around the kitchen making holiday meals, you could also be getting some exercise. I found these great MBT sport shoes that you can put on and they will tone your legs, thighs and rear-end while you move around. It has something to do with their way they are designed, and they keep a constant flex going all throughout your legs.
And while you are waiting for that honey-baked ham in the oven, take your MBT Sport Shoes outside and run a few laps around block. You never need an excuse to stay in shape.
Strap On Ankle Weights While Making Dinner
Similar to the tips utilizing the MBT sport shoes, you can strap on some five or ten pound ankle weights while you are buzzing around here and there. But don’t take them off out of the kitchen, keep those ankle weights on during your trips to the grocery store.
Imagine the benefits you will get as you zip up and down the isles of your local grocery store, dodging all the holiday shoppers as you go. That’s a great cellulite treatment that anyone can afford.
The end of the holiday season will bring those New Year resolutions and offer you another chance to get back in shape after all the holiday eating. But wouldn’t it be better if you were already ahead of the game because you took my advice above?
